"Song of the Siren"
The master bath in this spacious loft already had several unusual features, but the owner
wanted to take her existing nautical theme to the fun and fantasy limit. Her idea: to transform sitting
in this "water closet" into sitting on the deck of an
ocean liner or yacht! Not to mention, one named, "Song of the Siren." The entire small space was
painted and became a luxury yacht on turquoise tropical waters, with palm treed islands in the distance,
The "siren" herself, (the mermaid) sails bigger than life in the sky, and a "Free Mermaid Show" sign
on the door, provides a tease to the WOW within. A life preserver, and ship's lantern are two perfect accents. |
