Black Marble Fireplace The owner of this spectacular room was inspired by a mansion he had long admired on Rhode Island. With that as inspiration, and several collaborative discussions, we came up with a room anchored by this massive fireplace, a triptych window frame, and oversize baseboard all done in coordinating "black marble." The two thumbnail photos show the fireplace as it was assembled then painted black before the "marbling" was done. |
